About Us<\/h1>\n

We are NICOA, the premier and the largest democratically selected organization of all officers' (Scale - I to Scale - IV) in National Insurance Company Limited, India. While we do not make a big issue about our strength, but to give you an idea, in National Insurance, NICOA is nearly thrice big than its' nearest checked off Association. Taking the four Public Sector General Insurancecompanies in India into account (i.e. National Insurance Co. Ltd., New India Assurance Co. Ltd., Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., United India Insurance Co. Ltd.) our parent organization CONFED(NCGIOA), represents overwhelming majority of all Class-I officers.<\/p>\n

As a part of CONFED (NCGIOA), we at NICOA, are also a part of the greater movement that has partners in NIAOA, OICOA, UIIOA in the other 3 Public Sector General Insurers in India; a movement that aims to better the conditions of the officers\u2019 community while keeping the best interests of the Public Sector General Insurance business in India at heart. We also are of the elite, for NICOA along with our compatriots\u2019 viz. NIAOA, OICOA, UIIOA, are the only recognized officers\u2019 association in the Public Sector General Insurance industry. NICOA as a part of CONFED (NCGIOA), is also the only recognized association in the Public Sector General Insurance industry in India.<\/p>\n
