31st Annual General Meeting – Election of the Executive Committee
The 31st Annual General Meeting of the Delhi Regional Unit was held on 07th March, 2015 at Convention Center, SCOPE Minar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi – 110 092.
In the beginning the distinguished guests were welcomed with bouquets. The President Mr. Gulshan Ahuja welcomed all the distinguished guests and the members attending the Annual General Meeting. He also touched the points raised by the Ministry on TMP implementation where CVC has issued a circular and informed about transfer of female employees. Thereafter the Secretary Mr. R.K. Rana presented the Secretary Report alongwith accounts for the year 2013 & 2014. The Secretary Report and Accounts for the year 2013 & 2014 were unanimously adopted by the house.
While addressing the gathering Mr. R.K. Dwivedi, a veteran and founder of NICOA, suggested to remain vigilant on the Wage Revision front so that a decent Wage Settlement is achieved. Mr. S. Rudra, President NICOA-Central Committee informed about company’s performance and also updated about latest on the Wage Negotiations held at Hyderabad. He also informed the house that NPS issue is being seriously taken up with GIPSA/Ministry. He conveyed his best wishes for the AGM. Mr. S.K. Tewari, Chairman, NICOA thanked Delhi unit for inviting him for the meeting. He said we can achieve anything with our unity only.
Mr. Anurag Bhatnagar, DGM, D.R.O.-II, who attended the meeting, informed that he has been closely associated with the NICOA and he feels at home with NICOA. He conveyed his best wishes for the success of the meeting and wished good luck to the new committee. Mr. Anil Khanna, Regional Manager D.R.O-I thanked for inviting him for the meeting and gave his good wishes for the new committee. Mr. P.C. Gothwal, Regional Manager, DRO-II Motor Claim Hub while addressing said he cherish his long association with NICOA. He shared his experiences with the house. He advised the association to create a second line of leadership so that there is no vacuum. He also emphasised to remain in touch with the retirees who have given their wonderful years to the company as well as to the association. Mr. A.K. Goel in his address informed about his experience in the association and apprised the house about recent development in the industry.
The new members and retirees were welcomed with flowers. The meeting was attended by about 250 members. The newly elected Executive Committee had a meeting on 16th March, 2015 to elect Office Bearers for the year 2015-2016. The Executive Committee elected the Office Bearers, co-opted Executive Committee members and appointed DO Coordinators as per list given below.
Friends we are indebted to all our members, Life members and dignitaries who have made this meeting a resounding success. We also put on record our appreciation to all the activists who had worked day and night for success of the Annual General Meeting. The interest shown by the members shall be a morale booster for us. We are sure, with your continued support, participation and co-operation, the new Committee shall be able to discharge its duties to the satisfaction of the members.
