Opting out of Promotion & Opting out of Examination

Dear All, many of our officers eligible for Promotion are getting confused about Opting out of Promotion and, Opting out of Examination. The above two are completely different options. It must be noted that if any officer chooses the option of "Opting out of Promotion" such an officer will not be considered for the Promotion Exercise. NICOA CC held a meeting with CMD on company performances, TMP, promotion, NPS, EASI, brokerage on lease accommodation etc. NICOA raised Regional manpower imbalances, cadre strength norms, need based TMP, lady officer consideration, etc.  CMD asked suggestion for TMP.
